Bringing Google Home to France

The release of Google Home, a hands-free smart speaker powered by Google Assistant, was an important launch for the tech giant; traditionally the luxury of high-flying business execs, the benefit of a personal assistant would now be available to all.

Our task? Develop the French script for the Google Home launch commercial. As this was to be the first time Google Home had a ‘voice’ in France, we knew how crucial it was to evoke the right tone, which included reframing any pop or cultural references in a way that would work for our audience. The result was a spot that brought to life the Google voice with a distinctly French flavour.
